air condition

I am trying to find a meaning for the invention of my air envelope of building. What may be interesting is the air quality we concerned mainly for our living interior rather than the exterior public realm. This develops a contrasting relationship between outside and inside: cool, dry, fresh inside an air-conditioned building vs hot, humid, polluted street Building creates an isolated shell for itself and controls the outdoor air quality.
